Ytong Sculptures
Ytong is a man made material from sand, lime and cement - natural abundantly available raw materials that are obtained from responsibly managed extraction sites. The production process creates very little CO2 emissions and they contain 80% recycled content. They are produced as blocks which is what I hand carve. I use the broken and discarded reject blocks which are destined for landfill, which is why the sizes may vary slightly due to the state of the block as well as the fact that they are hand drawn and carved so no two are ever identical.
The ytong sculptures weigh up to 5kg.
They are can go inside or out. A stand is recommended for outdoors which can be ordered from the bottom of the page.
To keep their white colour it is recommended they are coated with Thompsons One Coat water sealant ( for brickwork) every Autumn. Or they can be sprayed with 'Wet & Forget' patio cleaner. If you prefer them to age with your garden ( after about 3 years they can start to go slightly green) then you don't need to do anything.
If made to order please allow 7-10 working days for delivery. Please contact me if you do require it sooner and I will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Refunds
I offer a 14 day money back guarantee from the day of receipt if you are not happy with your purchase.
